Previous Restoration… Lord Chancellor's Residence Oak Beds

This sequence of images show the solid oak beds made in the manner of Pugin by Ottery Antique Restorers for the Lord Chancellor's Residence, The palace of Westminster in February 1998. Made for the then chancellor Lord Irvine the beds were made from English oak, hand carved and linen fold panels. Three beds in all, one for the master bedroom and two further for the guest bedrooms. These images were taken in 1998 when the beds were made but due to their then sensitive nature have never been in the public domain until now.
